The Plainfield Art Factory opened in October 2002. We are located on Lockport Street in the
heart of downtown Plainfield, east of Des Plaines Street. Appointments are never necessary!
Join us for a relaxing afternoon or evening, a night out with friends, or to celebrate a special
occasion. We offer monthly theme parties which highlight a featured piece of bisqueware. In
addition, we offer tile & glass mosaic classes and children's art classes. If you enjoy working with
clay, sign up for one of our pottery classes: a one hour introductory class or a three-week
beginner or advanced class.
All bisque pieces are clearly marked with their price. Pieces are cleaned and ready for your
creativity! We have many pieces to choose from, including banks, trinket boxes, mugs, plates,
wine glasses & accessories, vases, planters. Prices range from $3 and up.
A $6 studio fee is added to the cost of your piece -- this includes the cost of your paints
(underglazes), the use of any of our stamps, stencils, sponges, and design books. We don't limit
your selection of paints, nor do we charge by the hour. Our philosophy is that your focus should
be on creating your masterpiece, not on watching the clock.
If your creative juices are flowing and you decide to paint another piece, an additional charge of
$3 would be applied for any subsequent pieces.
